As most of you know, I am graduating with my Associates in Human Services June 2nd of this year and couldn't be more ecstatic. I have worked very hard for this and can't wait for it to finally arrive.
I am finishing up my last internship this semester at the Rushford Center in Meriden, CT (substance and mental disorder center) and at the Rushford Academy in Durham, CT which is an academy for boys ages 13 - 17 who have been ordered through DCF to participate in the program due to past actions they've taken. It's been very exciting and just makes me yearn more everyday to continue learning.
I have already applied to Southern State University for the Fall 2011 to obtain my bachelors in Social Work and then eventually, my Masters (phew) and will get a final answer once I graduate and final grades can be provided.
I am hoping to graduate in June with Honors...I'm praying actually. I think I can do it.
